In August of 2012 Northstar Contracting began work as a subcontractor on the Euclid Creek Tunnel project in Cleveland Ohio. McNally Tunneling is the General Contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed in 2014. Upon completion, the tunnel will be 18,000 feet long with a 24ft diameter, existing approximately 200 feet underground, with the capability to hold 70 million gallons of combined sewage. The Euclid Creek Tunnel is part of the $3 billion plan by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to meet requirements of the federal Clean Water Act over the next 25 years.
